FFSimple

Privacy

FFSimple has no accounts, no ads and no tracking for advertising, and it never sells or shares data.

What is collected

To see how many people visit and whether pages load quickly, the site uses Amazon CloudWatch RUM, a performance and usage monitor. It records the pages viewed, page load timings, browser and device type, approximate country, and any errors the page hits. It sets two first-party cookies holding random identifiers, not your identity: cwr_s groups the pages of one visit and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and cwr_u recognises a returning browser so a visitor is counted once rather than once per visit. Neither is ever used for advertising.

The site is served through Amazon CloudFront, which, like any web server, processes your IP address to deliver pages and keeps aggregate traffic statistics.

Retention

Usage data is kept for at most 30 days in CloudWatch RUM, and only aggregate counts after that.

Do Not Track

The site does not track you across other sites, so it treats every visit the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
