FFSimple is a free, independent fantasy football projections site: no ads, no subscriptions, no accounts. It is a hobby project.

How the numbers are made

Every week we gather publicly available information on every team and player: how they have played, how much they are being used, who is hurt, who they face and what game day looks like. A statistical model trained on several seasons of games turns that into a projection for each player.

To test it, we re-run the model on past weeks using only what was known before kickoff, then score it on games it never saw.

Every player gets a floor and ceiling. Eight weeks in ten should land between them, and they are measured from the model's own past misses rather than guessed. Risers & fallers compare a player's last two games with his season before that, on opportunity first and production second.

Projections are estimates for fantasy football, made for entertainment. They are often wrong, they can change or be late, and they are not gambling or financial advice. Do not wager money based on anything on this site. You use it entirely at your own risk, and FFSimple is not responsible for any decision or loss that follows from it.
